Poodles, rabbit and the turtle are just a few family pets that would take time to move. Our pets really don't understand what is taking place on moving day.
1. Bring plenty of food in a small plastic bag and their water dish and medicine and place it in your car. This way it will be easier to find when you need it. Make sure you have enough food to last a week, just in case you cannot go to the store.
2. Bring their favorite bed or bedding so they will be able to identify what is there's. Feeling at home and feeling safe is the key.
3. Chew toys, raw hides for dogs, and soft toys for those kitty's are a good thing to have on moving day.
4. Please! Place your animals in a safe room where no one will be going in or out . This way you know they won't run away. Sometimes if you have friends, or family to hold on to them until your move is over this would be a good thing too!
Remember Pets are family too!
